WEB BROWSER:
A browser web browser or Web browser (English, Web browser) is a program that displays information contains a Web page (whether this is hosted on a server within the World Wide Web or local one).
The browser interprets the code, HTML usually is written in the Web page and presents it on screen allowing the user to interact with its contents and navigate to other parts of the network through links or hyperlinks.
The basic functionality of a Web browser is to allow the display of text documents, possibly with embedded multimedia. Documents can be located on the computer wherein the user, but also can be in any other device that is connected to the user's computer or through Internet , and has the resources necessary for the transmission of documents (a Web server software). These documents, commonly known Web pages, hyperlinks have that link a portion of text or an image to another document, usually related to the text or image.

began in 1994 Netscape Navigator with much success as soon logró la mayor parte del mercado; sin embargo, a partir de 1998 Microsoft fué ganando terreno hasta el presente (2005) cuando ha logrado ampliar su cuota de navegadores a mas del 68 % del total. Esto fué posible, en parte, a que Microsoft integró su navegador con su sistema operativo, y a la vez hizo acuerdos favorables a su navegador, con los fabricantes de componentes originales para computadoras personales.Recientemente Netscape ha respondido con el empleo del código libre en sus productos, creando entre otros, al navegador Mozilla, del cual hablaremos en detalle en un siguiente apartado.
