Yesterday, June 24 was held in the city of Seville a day more than the E-TIC, meetings, as we know, have become a benchmark in technological diffusion in Andalucia.
This time the event focused on the collaborative portal. The speakers showed us the importance of good management of a collaborative portal within an organization or institution. We showed the potential of this tool as a link between all components of a particular organization As has now become a necessity for them (because of the need to organize and continuously update large amounts of information between employees of a particular organization).
Encounter E-TIC "Collaborative Portals: how to improve productivity and streamline business processes" was inaugurated by Luis Hernes (Director of Avante) and Amparo Cabrera (Director of Marketing Cibersur). Both emphasized the effort day after day by the 2 entities to carry out the E-TIC. In addition, there was a special thanks to companies and institutions that collaborate, support and disseminate these days, as well as speakers and attendees "without which would not have been possible to hold this meeting again. "
As usual, the event brought together many ICT professionals (CIOs, CTOs, project managers, responsible for Data Center and responsible for systems).
Presentations were given by Javier Cruz (Head of Business Intelligence in the IT Department EBRO FOODS) we made an introduction to collaborative web tool and how it helped to improve knowledge management business.
behind him, Oscar Mozo Rivera (Consultant Technology Solutions Collaboration and Productivity Microsoft) talked about the collaborative web tool from Microsoft, the new SharePoint 2010 and showed us the many advantages of using this content management system through a demo accurate and complete.
After the coffee break, we attended a presentation by José Vicente Lafuente (Director of Professional Services Sistel) which taught us the advantages of iShare 2.0, the collaborative web tool based Sistel on free software. Any advantage saw them through another demo highly explanatory.
To conclude the conference we have the success story of the Hospital Juan Ramón Jiménez, Miguel Rodríguez Griñolo (Computer Engineer in the Hospital) which we discussed how improved productivity Hospital through a collaborative portal, which served to organize a large amount of information that was previously on paper. This has also helped to improve data recovery speed of the hospital.

E-TIC Next Meeting: "Mobile Development"
The next meeting E-ICT Technology closes the 2010 season, will take place on 29 and 30 September in Malaga and Sevilla, respectively, the conference "Mobile Development" which will focus on business applications in the era of the mobile and the latest market trends in this technological tool.
